Did you take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch 2016?
Our volunteer photographer Jana spent an hour in the spinney’s hide watching out for wildlife. She recorded some of what she saw on video…
In just one hour she spotted the following birds.
These results for Jana’s hour have been submitted via the Big Garden Birdwatch website. It is so easy and a great activity for all members of the family to join in with!
Bird watching is a great thing to do all year round, not just on the Big Garden Bird watch weekend. Charlecote is home to many different types of wildlife and we’re always seeing different things in the parkland as the seasons roll by.
Do keep an eye on our social media, blog and website for updates as the year flies by. We’ll let you know when the herons are nesting, the BTO volunteers are here checking out the owls and warn you of the times the ducks are feeling brave and need herded out of the tea room!
We have spotter sheets in our Spinney so, if you do fancy a bit of twitching whilst you’re visiting, you’ll be able to identify the birds you’ve seen.
