Autumn Glow: Photography Competition

You know we love Autumn here at Charlecote. We love the colours, the crisp leaves, the changing views. We also love the changing sounds in the park. Autumn just has that special feeling – that glow – that the other seasons don’t quite manage*.

If you love it too, you might be interested in entering the Midlands ‘Autumn Glow’ competition. The winning entry will receive a fantastic Lumix DMC-TZ70 camera, courtesy of our partner Panasonic.

As the summer brightness fades the gorgeous glow of autumn begins and it’s the perfect opportunity to wander round a National Trust place near you with your camera to capture the essence of autumn days. Whether it’s the fiery sunsets, golden trees, russet landscapes, colourful flowers, gleaming copper pans, or simply faces beaming with delight, the interpretation is entirely up to you.

How to enter:
Simply take a photo at one of the Midlands National Trust places that illustrates your interpretation of ‘Autumn Glow’.
Then post your photograph to our Facebook page, submit via Twitter or Instagram using #NTMidsglow or email to

Limited to one entry per person.

* Don’t get us wrong, the frosty and snowy festive season really gets us going too. And the new life of Spring when we meet our lambs and see greens of all shades sprouting across the park. Not to mention the basking sunshine that seems to light up the brickwork in the house and tempts many people to lay back on the grass and just relax…
