Wednesdays are a busy day for our House Elves. It is the one day of the week we close the doors to the house and let them get on with their conservation cleaning and any odd jobs that need to be done when we don’t have visitors. You may have read about some of these tasks on their blog posts.
But don’t let this put you off from visiting us! We have beautiful gardens and grounds to explore all year round. You can always get a nice cuppa too as our Orangery tea room in open everyday, as is our shop!
We’re also offering our intrepid Wednesday visitors an opportunity to venture beyond the ‘private’ signs on a Top to Bottom tour.
Discover those out of the way places at Charlecote on this free tour. This season, on each Wednesday in June, one of our guides will show you round the Charlecote you’ve never seen before. Places are limited so you have to collect a ticket from our Visitor Reception team. If you have any questions or access requirements, please get in touch ahead of your visit to discuss.
The House may be closed on a Wednesday but there’s still plenty to see!
