Did you know we have a fabulous holiday flat here at Charlecote? Its called the Turret and it is on the top floor of the house with beautiful views across the parkland. It is a great place to watch the deer at dusk!
We’re looking for someone to join our team here at Charlecote and help us look after and prepare the Turret for guests. Our Holiday Cottage Caretaker role is part-time, ideal to fit around any other jobs or childcare commitments. This will usually be for five hours per week on a Friday (10am – 3pm). There is also the opportunity to support other Holiday Cottage Caretakers within the portfolio when required. Although working on your own, you will be supported by your Area Supervisor and be part of the team at Charlecote Park.
So, what makes a stay in a National Trust holiday cottage that extra bit special? There’s the dramatic location and the glorious scenery. There’s the getting-away-from-the-hustle-and-bustle feeling too. But for lots of our guests, it’s the thoughtful home-from-home touches. Like the the biscuits and milk you’ve left out in case they’re peckish or craving a cup of tea. Its details like this that make a brilliant caretaker.
