Heritage Open Days

Charlecote Park will be opening its gates FREE to all visitors on Saturday as part of the Heritage Open Days scheme.
Will you be coming to see us? There is a lot going on all across the country, including many other National Trust places opening for free when they usually charge for entry.

On Saturday we will also have a number of FREE walks and talks that you can join.

Volunteer speaker Christina will be delighting visitors with stories of how often people changed their clothes in our costume talks at 12.30, 1.30 and 2.30. Meanwhile outside by our Gatehouse another volunteer speaker, Peter, will be giving welcome talks to give you a flavour and overview of the site throughout the day from 11.45am – 2.45pm!

I’ve been contributing to the Heritage Open Days blog for a few months now. My most recent post encourages people to visit Heritage Open Day venues even if they are not that inspired by history. I often find that these places hold a lot more interest that you first expect…

Some of my other posts are here if you wanted to have a read. I’d love to hear your thoughts on them.

How do you get to…?
