Transition Stratford: Giving us a helping hand

Yesterday we were joined by 5 volunteers from Transition Stratford for a morning work session in the orchard. They worked really hard and put in two trees and built the metal guards.

Transition Stratford are an organization of people in Stratford upon Avon and surrounding areas who are working to make a transition to a locally based, low carbon way of living. They aim to develop positive, practical ways in which we can act as individuals and local communities to achieve a more sustainable and fairer future for all. Do have a look at their website or call in and meet them at our national garden Scheme open day on June 16th
